Summer Holiday Clubs Return!
After being hit by the pandemic last year we are thrilled that we are back doing what we do best…Summer Holiday Clubs! We are in the final stages of putting together our holiday clubs which will run throughout West Yorkshire.
The summer holiday clubs are supported by funding from the Department Of Education that has been given to Bradford and Kirklees Council, Junior Jam have been able to utilise this funding throughout the holiday club in aim to help tackle Holiday Hunger.
We will run multiple clubs that will cover the whole of the summer holidays, starting in July and ending in the last week of August. All clubs have 2 instructors and 1 support staff to make sure the clubs run smoothly and safely. Junior Jam pack all our holiday clubs with fun and exciting activities. including multiple sports sessions; Football, Dodgeball, Basketball, Athletics, and Cricket. Along-side these, we will also do our iMedia lessons which are learning sessions using our iPads. In these sessions, the children will look at, Music production, Photography, Photo editing, Collage Creation, Filming, and film editing. As well providing the exciting activities, Junior Jam will provide all children with a range of healthy and balanced free school lunches throughout the duration of the holiday club, all thanks to the DofE funding.
We currently have summer holiday clubs booked in Bradford, Kirklees, Grimes Dyke Primary School in Leeds, and clubs booked through John Bell that are based in South Yorkshire. We do have 1 last venue available for wc 16/8/21. If you would be interested in having us run a holiday club for you, please contact Katy at our head office on 01274 649785! The kids always enjoy our clubs, so you won’t regret it!
