Introducing Jessie

Hey, I’m Jessie, one of the two new Junior Music and Media Manager’s here at Junior Jam! It is the beginning of my second week here so I thought I could start by telling you a little about myself, along with what I’ve been up to within the office so far.

I studied Music Production at Leeds Beckett University, and graduated in 2019. I have always loved production and creating music, ranging from atmospheric soundscape through to dance music. Throughout my studies at Uni I also discovered a passion for teaching. Junior Jam teaches innovative Music and Media lessons, so getting to know the curriculum has been really interesting and I’m looking forward to being involved in the delivery of such exciting lessons.

It has been great getting to know the staff, the office has been such a nice environment to be in and to get cracking with preparation for September. Louis and I have been busy re-setting iPads to make sure they are fully set to go. It’s lovely to know that despite the uncertainties of Covid-19, the office is still filled with energy and positivity leading up to the next academic year - which is set to be a great one!
